Welcome to Feather River Brewing Company. Brewed and bottled in the rugged foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Northern California by Masterbrewer Roger Preecs.
We use our own brewing style which produces a smooth, clean, less-bitter beer than the English Style ales produced by most California micro-breweries. We feel our beer, made with fresh ingredients and mountain waters, appeals to more consumers who enjoy this surprisingly smooth, yet rich, full bodied ale.
We produce three different beers, Raging Rapids, Honey Ale and new in the winter of 2005, our seasonal Dark Canyon. All have the distinctively clean, smooth flavor our beer is famous for. They are available at many Northern California locations.

History:
Roger Preecs has been an avid brewer since 1986 when he first saw the
brewing process and knew it was what he was meant to do. In fact, every
job he ever had contributed a skill which allowed him to build the brewery
himself. From building construction and equipment fabrication to sales
and distributing, Roger has lovingly built this business from the ground
up. He even makes his own ceramic tap handles!
Originally, Feather River Brewing Company ales were sold by the keg to local bars and restaurants. In 2003 Roger added a bottling machine so thirsty customers can find these fine ales at many more locations.
Feather River Brewing Company took the Peoples Choice Award at the California Festival of Beers, the largest brewers festival in the State, in both 2002 & 2003 and the brewery has been featured in several newspaper articles.
Roger is an avid supporter of the community and donates thousands of dollars in product each year to local charity events.
